Escape from Inferos

Escape from Inferos is a 2D shooter, where you must tackle hell's guards head on with a select fire arm.

Watch out, for some enemies are stronger and more unique than others.

Controls:

WASD/Arrow Keys - Movement
Mouse - Direction of player
Left click - Fire weapon
R - Reload

Weapon Info:

[VERY EASY] MAC10 - Fully automatic, decent damage, decent reload, OCCASIONALLY goes through enemy shields.
[NORMAL] Magnum - Single fire, fantastic damage, SLOW reload, ALWAYS goes through enemy shields.
[HARD] Pistol - Single fire, decent damage, decent reload, RARELY goes through enemy shields.

Developer Notes/Post Mortem:

[NOTE] I intend on releasing a bug fix for several bugs in the game!

I would have liked to implement far more levels, along with a level selector in the main menu, but out of fear of running out of time, and creating more bugs, I decided not to. I also considered adding a tutorial to the game, but due to real life events (holidays,) I had a more strict time schedule.

I also realized that using Raycasts to handle shooting would likely have been more wise, as the MAC-10's automatic fire can be a bit... off. As of December 27th, bugs relating to the MAC 10 should be fixed.

Another problem I noticed after compiling the game was that I did not properly scale my UI elements correctly. I hope to improve my UI in my upcoming projects.
